OASIS/Instructional Assistant

Honestly, I never thought about working in a school setting but, the opportunity gratefully fell into my lap. Throughout my time here I’ve grown to love my job, my students and the family atmosphere. It did take me some time to open up, and some probably still think I’m mute. Nonetheless they took me under their wing and helped guide me into who I’m becoming. It wasn’t until last year with Oasis that the true bond between myself and our students began to blossom. It melts my heart when they seek me out to just be around me. I’m like the “Fun-Auntie”, lenient but strict when it comes to behavior and grades. I just want every kid that I encounter to know and feel they can always come to me for love, a hug or a kick in the “butt” as well. (Just kidding… It is all love.)
