As a student who was at-risk, my teachers became my parents. They made a huge difference in my beliefs regarding the importance of education and continued to pour into me as I went through school. It definitely made a difference in my life and I want to do the same for others. I love how my CATA family interacts with the community to affect positive change in students facing the education system because, we want to be a part of the solution! My intended contribution to education is to become a role model to children, offer guidance and give young people the power of education. This is my passion, my life, and I am living my dream!
