Instructional Assistant

I have chosen a career in education because it’s the gift that keeps on giving. I love the work life balance that comes with being an educator, which allows me to spend quality time with family and friends as a result of school holidays and summer vacation. I believe our youth need male role models who can help them develop into informed and engaged citizens. I appreciate the CATA team for affording me the opportunity to do something I love, which impacts the community.  The relationship with kids and families I have developed during my CATA experience, has been invaluable. It has been extremely rewarding to see the result of efforts play out in the lives of the kids through both discipline and education. The diversity that comes with this role helps me to recognize the needs of the kids and families with whom I work to provide adequate support. I believe my contributions to the families I serve will be endless. Parents and kids can count on me to be a committed and dedicated educator who will provide the necessary support to help their child/children be successful in all aspects of their lives.
